They also need cutter bodies with different overhang lengths, even when the cutter diameter is the same. Product Overview

The TungForce-Rec series is a square shoulder milling cutter line designed for high-efficiency and high-precision machining. It uses uniquely shaped two-corner inserts and is available in four insert sizes: 04, 06, 12, and 18. The series covers maximum depths of cut from 4 to 16.5 mm. In combination with cutter body diameters from ø6 to ø160 mm, it can support a wide range of machining applications.
All insert sizes use Tungaloy’s original V-bottom insert design. This design stabilizes insert behavior during machining and provides high insert clamping rigidity. As a result, TungForce-Rec enables stable, high-efficiency machining even in small-diameter applications around ø10 mm. The series delivers excellent machining accuracy and productivity not only in shoulder milling, but also in slotting, pocketing, and many other milling operations.

New ø22 mm and ø28 mm cutter diameters have been added to the EPAV06 shank-type cutter lineup. With these cutter diameters, the cutting edge is positioned outside the shank diameter of ø20 mm or ø25 mm. This helps prevent interference between the shank and the workpiece, even when machining with a long overhang.
– 12 size:
The EPAV12 shank-type cutter lineup has been expanded with additional body length and tooth-count options in cutter diameters from ø18 to ø50 mm. In addition, the TPAV12 bore-type cutter lineup has been expanded with additional tooth-count options in cutter diameters from ø40 to ø100 mm.
– 18 size:
New ø28 mm and ø35 mm cutter diameters have been added to the EPAV18 shank-type cutter lineup. Since the cutting edge is positioned outside the shank diameter of ø25 mm or ø32 mm, interference between the shank and the workpiece can be avoided even with a long overhang. In addition, the new HPAV18 modular-head cutter has been added in ø25, ø32, and ø40 mm diameters. In combination with the TungFlex series, users can select tooling with the optimal tool length.
