Tungaloy Adds „JS” style Chipbreaker to AH8015 Grade for Heat-Resistant Alloy Machining

Achieves Exceptional Chip Control and High-Quality Finish

Tungaloy Corporation (President: Satoshi Kinoshita, Headquarters: Iwaki, Fukushima, Japan) announces the addition of the „JS” style chipbreaker for finishing operations to the AH8015 grade lineup, designed for heat-resistant alloys and stainless steel machining.

Overview
The AH8015 grade, which is optimal for machining heat-resistant alloys and stainless steel, features a PVD coating with high aluminum content layers that significantly improve the adhesion strength of the coating layer. This provides high reliability and ensures a long and stable tool life.

The new „JS” style chipbreaker, designed for finishing, is being added to the AH8015 grade lineup. The „JS” style chipbreaker features a large inclination cutting edge and uniquely designed breaker protrusions that ensure excellent chip control from low to high-depth of cuts while achieving a high-quality surface finish with low cutting forces.

The combination of the AH8015 grade and the „JS” style chipbreaker offers superior chip control and stable tool life, especially in finishing operations for heat-resistant alloys and stainless steel, contributing to improved productivity for a wide range of customers.
