Overview
The AH6225 grade, optimized for machining stainless steel and steel, is renowned for its high reliability and extended tool life. This is achieved by combining a high-hardness PVD coating layer with a high titanium content and a dedicated substrate that offers excellent thermal conductivity, effectively reducing temperature rise near the cutting edge.
The newly added „JS” style chipbreaker for finishing operations features large inclination angles on the cutting edge and uniquely designed breaker protrusions, ensuring effective chip control across a wide range of depth of cut. This design also minimizes cutting resistance, resulting in high-quality surface finishes.
