Cutting Tool Sales Engineer 

Tungaloy-NTK America, Inc. is an emerging leader in the development and distribution of innovative carbide cutting tools.  We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in machining and cutting tool sales and applications.  The ideal candidate should have a strong account following already in these markets.  The person will represent the company in the territory that has been assigned territory and ideally, the candidate will live in this region, but other locations can be considered for the right person. Tungaloy-NTK America, Inc. offers a competitive salary, progressive commission and bonus program, generous benefits package, company auto and travel expenses.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work directly with end users and distributors to achieve product sales goals.
  • Provide technical service to identify customer needs, define problems, and recommend solutions while providing service after the sale.
  • Prepare and provide test data reports
  • Provide ongoing distributor training, new product updates, tool demonstrations, and promotions to distribution channel.
  • Submit sales and progress reports to Divisional/Regional Management

 Work Experience and Skills:

  • BS or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in carbide and ceramic cutting tool sales to the metal working industry
  • Hands-on manufacturing knowledge specifically in the operation of CNC machine tools, programming and materials knowledge
  • Knowledge of the distributor role in stocking, promoting, and selling the company’s products within the territory
  • Excellent time management, organization, communication, and verbal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Tungaloy-NTK America, a subsidiary of a leading metal cutting tool company headquartered in Japan, operates as the North American Sales & Marketing office based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We are currently seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, in-office basis. As a member of our marketing department, you will contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing brand awareness and driving sales growth. Reporting directly to the Manager of Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in various marketing activities, including graphic design, social media management, trade show & seminar coordination, and podcast creation. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for marketing and the ability to seamlessly adapt to evolving priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid in developing catalogs, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
  • Strategize, execute, and track social media initiatives to bolster brand recognition and drive sales growth.
  • Take charge of the selection and design of promotional items.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of in-house product seminars, ensuring seamless execution and maximum attendance.
  • This role will entail overseeing and coordinating all trade show activities.
  • Contribute to the planning, production, and editing phases of podcast episodes.
  • Offer assistance across a variety of tasks aimed at bolstering brand visibility and facilitating sales growth.
  • Act as a readily available support for team members requiring assistance with various projects.

 Work Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated track record (1-2 years) in marketing, social media management, podcast production, and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. (Position entails 25% Graphic Design work)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills coupled with effective time management capabilities, able to work well independently to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks within a deadline-oriented setting.
  • Strong knowledge of social media analytics tools and platforms.
  • Experience utilizing video and audio editing software.

A leading Carbide Cutting tool company with operations in North America is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Arlington Heights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse. The individual will handle the receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, and supplies, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The individual’s attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our warehouse operations.

Work Hours: 30-35 hours a week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and compare them with purchase orders or invoices to verify accuracy and quality of products.
  • Inspect and properly store incoming products in designated storage areas, ensuring they are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are packaged securely and in accordance with shipping guidelines.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software to track and record inventory levels and movement.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, making appropriate adjustments in the system as needed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move, load, and unload products as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and meet customer demands.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use software applications for inventory tracking.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to {30 lbs}) on a regular basis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
