TetraMiniCut’s unique insert design offers four cutting edges, making the tool an economical option for parting, grooving, and threading. The tool's innovative three-point clamping method ensures superior insert stability during machining, coupled with precise repeatability of the cutting-edge position with every new indexing. Four insert styles are available with chipbreakers to generate light cutting action: TCG and TCP inserts feature ground-to-form chipbreaker, while TCS and TCL inserts offer pressed-in style, all to ensure optimal performance in all workpiece materials. NS9530 cermet grade insert features the cutting edge surface with an enhanced fracture toughness that is achieved by improved surface post-treatment technology. This provides the grade with an excellent balance of wear and fracture resistance. Furthermore, the insert surface is smoothed out significantly, contributing to built-up resistance and excellent surface finishing performance.
